I’m delighted to invite you to my award-winning monthly supper club to enjoy a feast created from my allotment harvests. It’s not vegetarian, but veg tend to take centre stage, supported by the fabulous seasonal produce from makers, growers and farmers here in the Cotswolds. You can see more about my veg patch and the sort of food I cook on my website.
HOW IT WORKS
On the last Friday of every month, give or take, Gluts & Gluttony (AKA me) pops up in the historic market town of Chipping Norton.
Guests are welcomed with a seasonal cocktail and nibbles at 7:30pm. At around 8ish, we’ll all sit down at the communal table to a homegrown feast celebrating the very finest harvests of the season.
Generally speaking there are 4 courses which will be piled high on sharing platters in the middle of the table and full of vibrant colours and flavours.
I’ll talk a bit about the food – how it’s grown and cooked – so you’ll leave well fed and a bit cleverer too.
If you’ve booked as a group you’ll be sat together on the main communal table – just the right balance of new and pals.
We finish around 10:30pm and everyone heads home with a goodie bag of petit fours for the journey. I also send a recipe pack to guests afterwards with the recipes from the evening.
MENU
I’ll add the menu a month or so before the event (ie: once I can see what’s growing well in the allotment!)
That said, it is liable to change a little. But don’t worry – there will be plenty of deliciousness to fill you up and I can still accommodate the more mainstream dietary requirements.
If you have dietary requirements please email me when you make your booking.
DRINKS
It’s BYO (apart from the welcome cocktail which is included in the price) so arrive with clanking bags. We’ll have bottle openers, glasses and water for the table too.
VOUCHERS
You can buy gift voucher for the G&G supper clubs which can be redeemed against any G&G supper club on Eventbrite. See here for more info
FAQs
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
There’s free on street parking just outside the venue and a car park in the town square which is no more than 50m away. But, guys, it’s Friday – get a cab home. Chippy is well-located for taxis but do email me if you need recommendations.
What can I bring into the event?
Your own booze and some scintillating conversation.
How can I contact the organiser with any questions?
Email me anytime
What’s the refund policy?
There are no refunds (but if you want to give the tickets to someone else then that’s fine, just let me know by email beforehand or their place name will be wrong!)
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope, just let me know your name when you arrive and I’ll tick you off my list.
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?
Sorry, no records were found. Please adjust your search criteria and try again.
