Developing our palates is an essential practice for evaluating coffees. Cupping Fundamentals introduces students to cupping, a standardized way of assessing coffee. This workshop provides an overview of the uses and history of cupping, as well as common terminology and protocol guidelines. Cupping Fundamentals also includes a primer on the human ability to process complex information through sensory perception. During this class we learn how to taste coffee, use common language when describing flavors, acidity, body and aftertaste. This lab includes 2 coffee cuppings and few sensory activities.
We are thrilled to welcome you back to our Training Center in Los Angeles. Counter Culture Coffee is working hard to safely serve each of you as best we can. This class is limited to 4 attendees and everyone will have their own cupping set. Proof of vaccination is required to attend this lab. Thank you for your patience, understanding and support.
