As Arizona natives and understudies of 2 James Beard award winning chefs, Riley and James are well versed in an array of elegant cooking techniques that are sure to impress even the harshest critic. Nowhere else can you experience this delightful display of culinary artistry. We describe ourselves as an underground group of Chefs that are expressing ourselves through our craft. Our events are a one of a kind experience in culinary arts. Our food is made with only fresh and local ingredients. We announce the delicious menu 48 hours before, and the beautiful dining location is disclosed 24 hours prior. All locations are unique and carefully selected. Whether it be a scenic patio, private loft, or romantic rooftop, we are sure to leave a lasting impression on each guest.
CHEF RILEY CHANDLER BIO:
Arizona Native, Riley Chandler, has a long history of culinary excellence that is sure to impress. Starting at a young age in his Grandma Stancato’s kitchen, he learned essential skills like making bread and pasta from scratch. His passion for food was immense, and he eventually went on to receive an Associate’s degree in Culinary Arts from Pima Community College. His formal education laid the groundwork, but nothing is as valuable as a chef’s field experience. He started as an intern at age 17, spending his first three years in the kitchen working under James Beard Award Winning Chef, Janos Wilder, and his Executive Chef, Devon Sanner. By age 19, Riley had the valuable experience of working at 3 critically acclaimed restaurants Janos, J BAR, and Downtown Kitchen & Cocktails. His other kitchen experience included the University of Arizona catering department, working under their Executive Chef Kevin Lau. In 2014, Riley became a personal on-call chef for Comforcare Senior Services, where he specialized in preparing professional home health plans for the elderly. He is skilled in preparing meals to accommodate GAPS, Paleo, Gluten Free, and Vegan diets. Riley began to pursue his own culinary endeavors to include running his own personal chef business and teaching technique classes at Williams-Sonoma La Encantada. More recently, Riley has assisted Chefs Janos and Devon with events at their newest business venture, The Carriage House. In total, Chef Riley has spent 6 years working in professional kitchens continuously learning from real, hardworking chefs.
