The “Find yourself” Pop-up Breakfast
From a start-up in a spare bedroom, with no relevant experience or investment, to an award winning business of £5m annual turnover and 50 employees – hear Jim Jensen’s story on how he went from there to here, with some great learnings on the way.
Jim is co-founder of Propellernet, a digital marketing agency that helps other businesses to be found online. It’s well known for being good to its people; Propellernet has been named as one of the top 15 Best Places to Work in the UK for the last five years and top 25 in Europe.
Jim will talk about his methods for success, which include how you can get the best out of other people by taking a step back and leaving them to it. He’s a man who believes in the art of divide and conquer and playing to your strengths. He’s also someone who is prepared to do the behind the scenes, less sexy day-to-day work – like building the infrastructure, creating a springboard for others to launch new ideas and grow the business. (For those Pulp Fiction fans amongst you, Jim is The Wolf!)
Who wouldn’t want to work with Jim?
Come to our breakfast to hear his plans for the future (which don’t, incidentally, include selling the business). He’ll also talk about why business should be fun – true to his belief that that’s what life’s about.
