We’re excited to announce our next pop up night will be held at the Yurt Cafe in Limehouse (just down the road from our previous nights @Stepney City Farm). We’ll be holding 2 feast nights in this unique setting (London’s only Yurt Cafe!), on Friday 18th May and Friday 20th July.
We’ll be providing 4 courses of delicious, seasonal and locally sourced food with a focus on ingredients from small British farms and producers (especially our personal favourite – sheep meat and dairy products). To get us off to a good start there’ll be a welcome cocktail included in the ticket price and we’ll also be selling local craft beers and specially selected wines to match the menu.
The menu for the 18th May will be focused on British seasonal cooking – provisional menu below:*
Cauliflower soup w/ homemade cheese biscuits and onion puree
Trio of smoked fish: Stepney smoked salmon, hot smoked chalk stream trout, cold smoked chalk stream trout, horseradish cream, edible flowers
Saddle of lamb, stuffed with black pudding and spinach w/ steamed asparagus and herbed butter
Sheeps ricotta raspberry cheesecake
