On Friday, October 20th and Saturday, October 21st, Cheeses of France, the leading resource for information on French Cheese and Butter in the U.S., Cheeses of France, will be hosting a fun, interactive pop-up event at The Westfield Topanga.
At this two-day event, “Fall In Love With Fromage”, consumers will have an opportunity to speak with representatives from each of the participating producers, learn more about the history and production of French cheese and sample each of the cheeses. The cheeses will be available for sale at ‘discovery’ prices. “This event will be an opportunity for everyone to enjoy the cheeses and have a great time while learning more about recipes, production regions and even cheese lore”, says Charles Duque, Director, The French Dairy Board, Americas. “French Cheese and butter are more than food, they are a conversation starter and a link to food culture,” Duque added. France offers more 1,200 cheeses, and this event will allow the cheese lovers of the Los Angeles area to explore and indulge these international offerings.
During this event, more than 25 types of cheeses and butters will be showcased in a fun interactive way. Cheeses selected for sampling include Comté, Triple Crème Brie, Camembert, and many others. Guests will come away with an enhanced understanding of French cheese and naturally more appreciation for the different types of cheeses.
