The 803 is proud to announce our three day pop up spanning from Thursday the 17th to Saturday the 19th, and invites you to join us for either our off this planet dinner omakase options priced at $95 and $125, or our lunch menus of $45 and $60.
BACKGROUND:
The 803 restaurant is an underground sushi pop-up that two freshman at Boston University started in their dorm room (room 803), and now works hand-in-hand with the world renowned chef, Pecko Zantilaveevan. The freshman from New York City started their dorm room restaurant simply because the dining hall just didn’t cut it. And what began as an attempt to eat in and debut their skills with a fun tasting exclusively for friends quickly snowballed into a full-fledged dining experience with customers commuting from the likes of Harvard, MIT and Boston College, not to mention the terriers themselves. Due to this, and their Snapchat Geotags the aspiring chef and passionate foodie working with a single electric burner, blender, crockpot, and blowtorch were able to serve their eclectic omakase experience to 32 people a night at the cubicle-like restaurant of four seats, for an always booked eight turns whenever they had time two in between classes. After being featured in the Boston Globe, they have returned home to New York to link up with the revered Zantilaveevan, and have been doing an array of their own pop-up events, private events and catering in New York and the hamptons.
